Gear Kote is a black, viscous, residual lubricant diluted with a solvent for easy application through automatic lubrication systems or by hand. Once applied, the diluent (solvent) in Gear Kote will evaporate, leaving a tacky lubricant on gear teeth.
Gear Kote provides a protective, high film strength coating, which produces an extremely tenacious cushion on gear teeth for maximum protection against heavy loads and wear.
Gear Kote is easy to apply with brushes, swabs, or through automatic lubrication systems.
