The ultimate in Locomotive Oil performance: VI Plus Premium Locomotive Oil #414 utilizes the latest lube oil technology compounded with Frontier’s exclusive additive package. It has high alkalinity and is zinc free. VI Plus Premium Locomotive Oil is designed specifically for diesel engines used for power generation, oil well drilling, marine and railroad industries. It also meets the Generation 4 LL and Generation S oil requirements.


VI Plus Premium Locomotive Oil can be used in DDC engines used for auxiliary power. It can also be used in engines which can use an engine oil having a sulfated ash content of 1%or more (>1% WT). VI Plus Premium Locomotive Oil can also be used in some new General Motors and Caterpillar engines and in older locomotive diesel engines such as Baldwin, ALCO and Suizer.
